1) Agreement between customer and Platform 9
Welcome to the Platform 9 website. This Website is provided solely to assist customers in gathering rail information, making bookings for selected rail passes and tickets, sending in enquiries, and for no other purposes. The terms "we", "us", "our", refer to Platform 9. The term "you" refers to the customer visiting the Website and/or sending in bookings and enquiries to us through this Website.
You understand and agree that any violation of any rail supplier rules and restrictions may result in cancellation of your reservation(s), in your being denied access to the applicable travel product or services, in your forfeiting any monies paid for such reservation(s), and/or in our debiting your account for any costs we incur as a result of such violation. Platform 9 expressly disclaims any responsibility for any losses, damages, inconveniences (including, without limitation, any and all delays, cancellations, and missed connections) or other concerns related to your purchase or attempt to purchase any tickets, other travel-related products or services, or any other product or service that may be accessed, made available, or disclosed through the Platform 9 Site. Further, we will not be liable for any mistakes or incorrectness as to prices and conditions with respect to the use of any and all rail passes, tickets or any other product or service sold on the Platform 9 Site. All products and services offered and prices are subject to change without prior notice.

Please read these additional terms and conditions carefully. You agree to abide by the terms and conditions of purchase imposed by any supplier with whom you elect to deal, including, but not limited to, payment of all amounts when due and compliance with the supplier's rules and restrictions regarding availability and use of fares, products, or services. We reserve the right to cancel your booking if full payment is not received in a timely fashion.

You may make a purchase through the Platform 9 Site as either or a guest or by registering with us. In either case, you will need to provide certain information required for travelling, including your name, a valid shipping address in Singapore, your email address, as well as the names of anyone travelling with you. Depending upon the product you are purchasing, you may be required to specify the age group into which you (or your travel companions) belong. With respect to all information you provide to us during registration or at the time of a purchase, you agree to provide us with: (i) accurate, current and complete address, email address and other registration information, and (ii) your valid payment information, including credit card numbers and expiration dates (all such foregoing information, collectively, “Data”). You agree to maintain and update your registered Data in a timely manner to keep it accurate, current and complete. You agree that we may update your Data with information your bank or credit card issuer may supply.
You may only make purchases via the Platform 9 Site if, and you hereby represent and warrant that, you are domiciled in Singapore and you are 18 years old or older and the age of legal majority in the jurisdiction where you reside. You agree to pay in full the prices and any applicable taxes for any purchases you make either by credit or debit card or other permitted payment method. If payment is not received by us from your credit or debit card issuer, you agree to pay all amounts due upon demand by us. Platform 9 reserves the right to restrict the use of debit cards for purchase in its sole discretion. Except for certain payment card transaction fees that Platform 9 may be responsible for directly to your payment card issuer, you are responsible for any fees or charges that your bank, credit card or debit card issuer may apply.
You agree that you will not allow others to use your registered account or Data, and you are solely and entirely responsible for maintaining the confidentiality and security of both. Furthermore, you are solely and entirely responsible for any and all activities that occur under your account and you agree to immediately notify Platform 9 of any unauthorised use of your account or any other breach of security. Platform 9 shall not be responsible for any losses arising out of the unauthorised use of your account and/or Data, and you agree to indemnify, defend and hold harmless Platform 9, its parent, subsidiary, affiliated and related companies, and each of its and their respective officers, directors, employees, representatives, contractors and agents for any claims, damages, costs, expenses or liabilities (including reasonable attorneys’ fees), resulting from or arising out of any improper, unauthorised or illegal uses of the same. You acknowledge and agree that we shall have no liability associated with or arising from your failure to maintain accurate Data, including, but not limited to, your failure to receive critical information about the Platform 9 Site.

You are responsible for ensuring that you meet foreign entry requirements and that your travel documents, such as passports and visas (transit, business, tourist, and otherwise), are in order and any other foreign entry requirements are met. Platform 9 has no special knowledge regarding foreign entry requirements or travel documents. We urge customers to review travel prohibitions, warnings, announcements, and advisories issued by the relevant governments prior to booking travel to international destinations.
Passport and Visa: You must consult the relevant Embassy or Consulate for this information. Requirements may change and you should check for up-to-date information before booking and departure. We accept no liability if you are refused entry onto a flight or into any country due to your failure to carry the correct and adequate passport, visa, or other travel documents required by any airline, authority, or country, including countries you may just be transiting through. This includes all stops made by the aircraft, even if you do not leave the aircraft or airport.
Health: Recommended inoculations for travel may change and you should consult your doctor for current recommendations before you depart. It is your responsibility to ensure that you meet all health entry requirements, obtain the recommended inoculations, take all recommended medication, and follow all medical advice in relation to your trip.
Pregnancy: All pregnant women are required to produce a physician’s letter stating that mother and baby are in good health, fit to travel and the pregnancy is not high-risk. The letter must also include the estimated date of delivery (EDD) calculated from both the Last Menstrual Period (LMP) and ultrasound, if performed. Any passengers who will have entered the third trimester of pregnancy by the end of the vacation are not allowed to board a train.
7) Liability disclaimer
The Information, Software, Products and Services published on this Website may include inaccuracies or errors, including pricing errors. In particular, Platform 9 does not guarantee the accuracy of, and disclaim all liability for any errors or other inaccuracies relating to the information and description of rail journeys and other travel products and services displayed on this Website (including, without limitation, the pricing, photographs, list of hotel amenities, general product descriptions, etc.). In addition, Platform 9 expressly reserves the right to correct any pricing errors on our Website and/or pending reservations made under an incorrect price. In such events, if available, we will offer you the opportunity to keep your pending reservation at the correct price or we will cancel your reservation without penalty.
Platform 9 is not liable for the acts, errors, omissions, representations, warranties, breaches or negligence of any suppliers or for any personal injuries, death, property damage, or other damages or expenses resulting there from. Platform 9 and our Affiliates have no liability and will make no refund in the event of any delay, cancellation, overbooking, strike, force majeure or other causes beyond their direct control, and they have no responsibility for any additional expenses, omissions, delays, re-routing or acts of any government or authority.
